The 61st World Health Assembly in Geneva from 19 to 24 May 2008. At this meeting, the Health Assembly will consider public health issues, including the following:
  • pandemic influenza preparedness: sharing of influenza viruses and access to vaccines and other benefits;
  • prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases: implementation of the global strategy;
  • public health, innovation and intellectual property: draft global strategy and plan of action;
  • genital mutilation female;
  • strategies to reduce harmful use of alcohol, and;
  • climate change and health.
addition, the Health Assembly shall review the program budget and various administrative and management of WHO.
